The Osteopaths

sarahSarah Shand trained at the British School of Osteopathy and qualified in 1993. Since then she has worked for osteopaths in Camberley, Reading and Ascot before setting up the Bracknell Osteopathic clinic in 1995.

Sarah has a lot of experience in all musculo skeletal problems, and in 1998 trained in the use of trigger point acupuncture. Sarah has also taught on three acupuncture courses.

Sarah has a special interest in treating chronic pain conditions and will sometimes use acupuncture if suitable for nerve pain which has not responded to other therapies.

Sarah also attended two post graduate training courses in cranial osteopathy and is very happy treating small babies and young children.


Dana Palmer qualified as a physiotherapist in 1994 gaining a bachelor degree withdana honours in the study of rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Dana then worked in hospitals in Slovakia as a physiotherapist before coming to England to train in osteopathy. Dana qualified in January 2003, gaining a 2.1 for her BSc in Osteopathy, and has recently trained in the use of acupuncture.

Dana is fluent in English, Slovakakian and Czech and also has some knowledge of Polish and Russian.

With her dual qualification in diagnosis and treatment, Dana is able to look at every case with a great depth of understanding and knowledge. She is particularly good at treating sports injuries and in structuring rehabilitation following accidents.
